The Night Before

Thanks for the nice farewells from folk at Church and others. It's the night before the big trip and we are with son Ben and wife Caroline. Josh and his girl friend Sarah are here too. We have had a nice drive up to Rangiora. Hot here though. Went for a walk around the old Christchurch CBD and was surprised at how desolate and broken (munted) it all still is. Tomorrow afternoon we fly out to Dubai via Sydney and Bangkok. Not looking forward to the long haul. We arrive in Dubai at 6.30am local time. We spend Thursday there with a half day tour of the city. Friday morning - Jordan!
